Firefighters were working a vehicle rescue on a stretch of highway in Santee Saturday.

Units were dispatched at around 12:35 p.m. Saturday and arrived a few minutes later to the intersection of State Route 52 and West Hills Parkway, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

A total of 25 personnel were assigned to the rescue, including one truck, three engines and two medics, officials said.

No injuries or evacuations were immediately reported.

The cause of the rescue was not immediately clear.
