Firefighters were working a vehicle rescue on a San Diego freeway Saturday.
Units were dispatched at 6:55 a.m. Saturday and arrived a few minutes later to a stretch of freeway on southbound Interstate 5 parallel to Rose Canyon Trail in San Diego, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
A total of 19 personnel were assigned to the rescue, including one truck, two engines and one medic, fire officials said.
No injuries or evacuations were immediately reported.
The events leading up to the vehicle rescue were not immediately known.
