The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $3.711, its lowest amount since Feb. 11.

The average price has decreased 23 consecutive days and 76 times in the past 83 days, dropping 44.2 cents over that span, including a half-cent on Saturday.

The average price is 3.1 cents less than one week ago, 11.6 cents lower than one month ago and 23.1 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
