A driver’s thumb was severed in a two-vehicle crash in Sabre Springs early Tuesday, police said.
The crash between a Toyota Camry and a Honda minivan occurred at Poway Road and Springhurst Drive around 6:30 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Matt Tortorella.
Paramedics took the injured driver to Scripps La Jolla Hospital, he said.
