A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck in the desert east of Anza-Borrego State Park early Monday morning, following two smaller temblors in Brawley.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake at 5:17 a.m. and said it was felt throughout in San Diego County.
Earlier Monday there was a 3.1 magnitude quake south of Brawley in Imperial County, and on Sunday night a 2.7-magnitude temblor in the same area.
No damages were reported from an of the earthquakes.
The area around the Salton Sea has recorded a number of earthquake swarms in recent weeks.
